Privacy Policy

The short version

Freesy keeps your data on your iPhone. We have no accounts, no servers of our own, no ads and no tracking. Only purchases pass through a payment service, RevenueCat (see Purchases). We never sell your data.

What the app stores, on your iPhone

Your habits and quit dates, daily check-ins, slips and what triggered them, money saved, your wishlist and its photos, crystals, rewards, achievements, your name and profile picture, your settings, and your chats with Jemi and what Jemi remembers about you. It is kept in the app's private storage on this device so the app can work.

Jemi, the AI companion

Jemi runs on Apple Intelligence. Simple replies are written on your iPhone. Longer ones may use Apple's Private Cloud Compute, where Apple processes the request without storing it or making it accessible to anyone, Apple included. Freesy has no AI servers and never sees your chats. You can read and delete what Jemi remembers at any time from the chat.

Apple Health

If you turn it on, the app reads your resting heart rate, sleep and blood oxygen, and writes nothing. It uses them only to show how your body recovers and to let Jemi talk about it. When a chat with Jemi goes to Apple’s Private Cloud Compute, these numbers can be part of that request, which Apple doesn’t store. Health data is never used for advertising, never sold and never shared with anyone else.

App blocker (Screen Time)

If you set it up, Apple's Screen Time keeps the list of apps you limit. Apple gives Freesy only private tokens, not the names of the apps or what you do in them.

Notifications, widgets and Live Activities

Reminders are scheduled on your iPhone. Widgets and the Live Activity show your streak and savings; anyone who can see your Home or Lock Screen can see them, so they never show the name of your habit.

Backup in iCloud

If you sign in with Apple, a copy of your habits, check-ins, savings, wishlist, crystals, achievements, settings and what Jemi remembers is kept in your own iCloud account, protected by Apple. Chats and photos stay on your iPhone. We can't access the copy, and Erase everything deletes it too.

Sign in with Apple

Signing in gives the app only an anonymous Apple ID number, kept on your iPhone. We don’t ask for your name or email.

Purchases

Subscriptions and purchases are handled by Apple. We never see your payment details. To confirm what you bought, the app uses RevenueCat: it receives your purchase history (what, when, price and country) with a random ID made on your iPhone, never your name, email or Apple ID. RevenueCat keeps it to restore your purchases and to show us sales totals. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.

Keeping and deleting your data

Your data stays until you delete it. Settings → Erase everything deletes all of it from this iPhone at once, and deleting the app does the same. Purchase records stay with Apple and RevenueCat; to have RevenueCat's copy deleted, write to freesy.support@icloud.com.

Children

Freesy is meant for adults and is not directed at children.
